80 litre recycled plastic wormery with a wooden lid. Not as fancy as the Herb Garden Wormery range but a great little worker and a better option if you produce large amounts of food waste or if you also want to add some garden waste to your wormery.
Vermicomposts 3.5 to 4kg of waste per week once up and running optimally.
It is a free drainage system so site it on gravel, grass or dirt ( version with a tap also available )
The ideal shape for a wormery, short and broad it has a large surface area and food will not compact down as it can in dust bin shaped wormeries.
The wooden lid has an interior corrugated rubber ring for a secure fit.
The harvesting tray makes this simple design as easy to use as a stacking system. When the wormery is about 3/4 full place the harvesting tray inside for easy seperation of worms and worm casts.
