A mixture of Dendrobaena venata and Eisenia fetida supplied in 10 litres of safe bedding. We supply a mix of worms because they have slightly different likes and dislikes and we have found that a combination of these two species is best for worm composting. The amount of food worms eat is directly related to the number of worms you have, 1kg of worms ( approx. 2000 worms ) will eat 500g of food waste a day in optimal conditions. If you look after your worms they should double their population in 4 to 6 months. You don't have to worry about ending up with too many, these extraordinary creatures will self regulate their population.
