Mature Spider Plants

~~NASA did studies into which plants would be best for purifying the air in a space station. The humble spider plant came out tops. They not only does this elegant plant produce oxygen from carbon dioxide, it also absorbs impurities such as benzene, formaldehyde and trichlorethylene. For best results it should be kept in the kitchen or near the fireplace as these are the places where carbon monoxide accumulates. It is great for purifying the air in offices.
